Emerald, labeled to express its prestige and clarity, is specially crafted with care. The leaf used in Emerald is chosen from particular estates and blended to maximize health benefits. Emerald is loaded with polyphenols which helps to reduce the formation of free radicals in the body, combating diseases and retaining one’s youth.
Emerald Tea helps improve brain function by synergizing caffeine and amino acid L-theanine. It builds metabolism and increases an individual’s ability to burn fat effectively.
From humble beginnings
Establishing its operations in 1995, M.E.H Industries (Pvt) Ltd. is a pioneering family owned company that has grown from humble beginnings into one of Sri Lanka’s premier manufacturers, processors, and exporters of high-quality Ceylon Tea, ranging from Ceylon Black Tea and Green Tea to other speciality Ceylon Teas, including the high quality ranges of Tippy Teas.
Mr. Mohamed Esufally was originally a family member of the Hemas Group but ventured out on his own with the name change based on familial ties. This tradition is followed by his son Hassan Esufally, who is striving to take on the prestigious history of M.E.H forward to new heights with a new initiative called Esufally Wellness.

Ambassador
Our unique brand is advocated by our Brand Ambassador Hassan Esufally, a Melbourne University global scholarship award winner. Hassan is a second-generation son of the company legacy and truly embodies the company mantra. Hassan successfully completed the IRONMAN Triathlon in 2016. The IRONMAN Triathlon is considered to be the most grueling one-day sporting event in the world.
